BAE in Olympic Security Talks

18 April 2008 11:06

BAE Systems is in talks with the UK's Home Office to discuss providing warzone surveillance planes during the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The early discussions concern the deployment of HERTI unmanned surveillance aircraft, which are typically used by the military to gather intelligence, according the The Independent newspaper.

The move is part of BAE's push into homeland security markets.
