Rockwell Collins Acquires Athena Technologies

Rockwell Collins says it plans to acquire unmanned aerial vehicle navigation producer Athena Technologies.

The acquisition of the private firm, expected to complete in early April, is subject to regulatory approval.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Athena produces the GuideStar family of compact flight-control systems for applications on commercial aircraft, UAVs, target drones and missiles.
