UK Funds Aerospace And Defence Knowledge Network

The UK Technology Strategy Board and Ministry of Defence (MoD) is to fund an aerospace and defence Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) over three years.

The £2.4m KTN will be managed by the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC), with the aim of improving the UK's innovation performance by increasing and accelerating technology transfer into UK-based businesses.

SBAC says the KTN will promote innovation and collaboration across industry, government and academia to implement the UK's National Aerospace Technology Strategy.
