EADS Wins German Communications Contract04 December 2007 11:12 EADS Defence & Security has won a €14m contract from the German military to create a network for the MobKommSysBw tactical and mobile communications system. EADS will supply 30 mobile system teams, ten mobile network management teams, training equipment, a network management facility and training services as part of the contract. Hardware for the network is being supplied by Cisco Systems and will use civil IP-based communication standards. Existing German equipment will be used for transmission on the network.
