Tiger Helicopter Simulator Accredited

A flight simulator with two coupled domes has been the first of its type to receive accreditation by Australian authorities.

Believed to be one of the world's most sophisticated aircrew training system, Eurocopter's Tiger Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) Full Flight & Mission Simulator (FFMS), has been awarded with FSD-1 Level 5 certification - the highest of its kind.

The Tiger FFMS, part of the Australian Tiger acquisition programme (Air-87), replicates the Tiger's two separate cockpits and can be operated either coupled as one virtual aircraft or independently.
