15 October 2007 16:58

UK-based Chess Dynamics has developed a new mobile situational awareness system that allows armed forces to detect, recognise and identify targets.

The Spyder is an electro-optical director that comes equipped with up to 16 cameras providing the user with 360° real-time images.

The Spyder boasts automatic target detection, a touch-screen user interface and manoeuvrable yet powerful optical sensors for detected target threat assessment (DTTA) to meet the needs of current and future military security and surveillance.

Chess Dynamics is a defence subsystem supplier to the UK and overseas forces.
