EC Commits to Galileo Satellite System

The European Commission has shown its commitment to the satellite navigation system that could find a use in military applications by adopting a communication to ensure the programme continues.

It is looking asking for funding for the system, named Galileo, to come from the community.

Commercial funding has failed in the past, halting Galileo's development.
