Allen-Vanguard Purchase Med Eng Systems

Canadian company Allen-Vanguard has purchased Med-Eng Systems for C$600m.

Med-Eng is a leading global supplier of Explosive Ordinance Disposal equipment, bomb disposal suits and helmets.

It also supplies Electronic Counter Measures to the US military through General Dynamics Armaments and Technical Products.

Last year Med-Eng reported revenue of C$261m.

Allen-Vanguard develops and markets technologies, tools and training for defeating and minimising the effects of hazardous devices and materials, including nuclear, biological and chemical threats.
