The US Army has awarded General Dynamics a $74.6m contract for the production of 30mm PGU-15 A/B target practice cartridges.
The cartridges are ballistically matched to the PGU-13/B HEI combat round and provide US Air Force pilots with realistic training on the A-10 GAU-8/A Gatling gun.
The contract is expected to be complete in October 2008.
