EADS Combines Manufacturing Power

Defence contractor EADS NV is pulling all of its manufacturing facilities together to form one legal entity. The move will make it easier to sell its plants as part of its Airbus restructuring program, Thomson Financial says.

This will include plants such as those dealing with EADS missile systems, creating an entity the news organisation says would bring in future sales worth about €1bn.
