Raytheon to Upgrade DIB Software System

The US Air Force has awarded Raytheon a contract to develop the next generation of Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Integration Background (DIB).

DIB is a software system that allows military analysts and intelligence communities to collaborate globally, regardless of their military service affiliation, enabling joint interoperability.

The DIB 1.2 updates will allow greater widespread sharing of data across enterprise firewalls, provide expanded event delivery and notification capabilities and additional enhancements for data retrieval and presentation of results to the user.
