IAI and Rheinmetall Collaborate on Reconnaissance and Strike Systems

Israel Aerospace Industries and Rheinmetall Defence are to develop a reconnaissance and strike-system network using loitering munitions assets for operational ground forces.

The companies plan to implement a weapon system for standoff-capable engagement of single and pinpoint targets (WABEP).

The WABEP system will provide a low-risk and effective solution for closing the capability gaps for precise and rapid action at stand-off ranges.
