The Polish Defence Ministry has awarded a contract to Terma for the supply of aircraft survivability equipment for seven Mi-17 and 15 Mi-24 helicopters.

According to the contract, the company will deliver electronics, aerostructures, test, and train 250 personnel to operate and maintain the equipment.

The company will also deliver pods containing sensors and flares for exterior installation, the electronic self-protection systems, and project management.

Delivery and installation of the equipment will be completed before the end of 2012.
