KVH Industries has received an order from an international customer for its TACNAV TLS tactical navigation system.
The TACNAV TLS systems will be used to upgrade existing light armoured vehicles that are already used on the battlefield.

The tactical navigation system equips military vehicles with a battle management, tactical navigation and targeting solution that provides commanders with continuous data to improve operational awareness.
The system also offers a range of capabilities that include target location, GPS backup and enhancement, vehicle position and steer-to / cross-track error displays.
Delivery of the $3.7m order is expected to take place in the second quarter of 2011.
