The US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has awarded an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to TASC to provide advisory and assistance services to the combat and nuclear support directorates.

The $97m, five-year single-award contract will focus on contingency planning for weapons of mass destruction as well as the safety, security and effectiveness of the US nuclear deterrent.

The company will also support directorate leadership, consequence management, contingency operations and the Defense Threat Reduction University.

An expert team from seven subcontractors will help TASC meet the programme objectives.

Work will be carried out at the Pentagon, Virginia, and Kirkland Air Force Base, New Mexico, US.
