Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation has been awarded a $129.4m firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of UH-60M helicopters, HH-60M helicopters, MH-60S helicopters and MH-60R helicopters.
The Black Hawk helicopters provide less pilot workload, increased lift, better protection and enhanced survivability, and support medical evacuation, electronic warfare attack, assault support and special operations.

Work will be carried out at the company’s facility in Stratford, Connecticut, US, with an estimated completion date of 31 December 2012.
The US Army Contracting Command will be the contracting activity.
