Oxley Developments has won a contract to supply its dual-mode LED lighting for the new British Armed Forces patrol vehicle, Foxhound.

Foxhound is the British Army’s Light Protected Patrol Vehicle (LPPV) designed and developed by Force Protection.

Under the latest contract, Oxley will supply LED DC Combi Lights for all 200 Foxhounds being produced by Force Protection for the UK Ministry of Defence.

The 16mm DC Combi lightweight lights operate in normal and emergency modes and are resistant to shock and vibration.

The lights eliminate the requirement for surplus space to store new and used bulbs and offer a non-hazardous solution due to the absence of mercury.
