Lockheed has been awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide Patriot advanced capability-3 (PAC-3) software modernisation development for the United Arab Emirates.
PAC-3 is a high / medium advanced surface-to-air guided missile air defence system.

Work on the $18m contract will be carried out at the company’s facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, US, with an estimated completion date of 31 August 2013.
