The US Army has awarded a $37m contract to Thales for security force assistance brigades (SFAB).

Thales will equip the SFAB with AN/PRC-148C improved multiband inter-intra team radios in order to provide US Army troops with a cross-functional advisory capability.

Kord Defence has received a contract to provide a wireless systems control technology to the Australian Army.

Kord will receive $635,000 in funding from the Defence Innovation Hub to develop the system.

Capable of connecting multiple electronic devices, the system will provide improved communications, sensors, and battlefield intelligence capabilities to the soldiers.

Saab has been contracted by an undisclosed customer for its 155mm explosive training artillery ammunition.
