US firm Olin Corporation has received a $51.14m contract modification to supply small arms ammunition to the US Army.

The company will deliver 5.56mm, 7.62mm and .50 calibre ammunition cartridges through August 2019.

The contractual work will be performed in Oxford, Mississippi, US.

AM General LLC has been contracted by the US Army Contracting Command for additional M1167 high-mobility multi-purpose wheeled vehicles (HMMWV) to the US Army National Guard.

The $11.84m modification contract will involve the delivery of an additional 60 vehicles for the US Army’s M1167 HMMWV recapitalisation programme.

Contractual work is expected to be completed in December 2018.

The company will deliver MT-2025 transceivers for the Blue Force Tracking-2 (BFT-2) system, which is a part of the US Army’s Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) programme.

The MT-2025 transceiver will allow the BFT-2 system to provide enhanced real-time situational awareness and networking capabilities for armed forces.

Orbital Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC has received a $20.45m contract modification for tank ammunition.

The company will supply new production 120mm tank training ammunition M1002 cartridges until March 2020.

Contractual work will be performed in Plymouth, Minnesota, US.

BAE Systems Information Solutions Inc has been contracted to provide intelligence-related services to the US forces in Afghanistan until October 2018.

The $50.49m contract is a modification to a previous contract awarded by the US Army Contracting Command.
