Last year, for three weeks in April and May Estonia's internet infrastructure experienced a 'distributed denial of service' (DDoS) attack of unprecedented size and coordination. The campaign followed Estonia's relocation of a Soviet WWII monument from the center of Tallinn, Estonia's capital, to a military cemetery on the outskirts of town.
