China and nuclear arms control: current positions and future policies

The report describes and analyses Chinese positions on critical and impending nuclear arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation issues faced by the international community, China's position on the issues and how its implementation has changed.
The report examines multilateralisation of the nuclear fuel cycle, nuclear disarmament and the elimination of nuclear weapons, and concludes by considering the next steps that should be taken for more effective engagement between China and the international community on issues of nuclear arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation.
