Friend or Foe identification System

Combat Identification (CID) using the Question and Answer principle (Q&A) only allows a confirming identification of a friend as a friend. It is not possible to identify a foe as a foe with such a system.

LASIM allows the IFF (Identification Friend or Foe) function to provide additional combat simulation capabilities.
