AIFV PUMA Tracked Vehicle Transmission

The RENK HSWL 256 for 45t class tracked vehicles has a power range of 500kW-800kW. The design of this completely new developed, fully digital controlled transmission provides the manoeuvring capability of the next generation heavy armoured APCs and support vehicles. With a mechanical gear ratio above 6.3 and its geometric gear gradation in six levels, the HSWL 256 is the prime solution for high density diesel engines and / or parallel hybrid layouts.
