Water purification systems
To fulfil the basic need for drinking water Kaercher Futuretech has developed a range of mobile purification systems. These systems are able to desalinate sea and brackish water and produce drinking water out of nearly any water quality without the need for chemicals. The systems can either be mounted on trailers or installed in containers in accordance with specific requirements. Kaercher Futuretech has also developed mobile water bottling plant and packaging system to provide drinking water in the field.
Waterclean water purification systems
The Waterclean water purification system is able to treat sweet, brackish or salty water (raw water quality might influence the production rate) using a method based upon reverse osmosis technology. Some systems have an integrated electrical power generator and can operate autonomously without the need for an external power supply.
The purification capacities of the Waterclean series of water purification systems vary from 12,000 (WTC 500), 30,000 (WTC 1000), 40,000 (WTC 1600), up to 240,000 litres (WTC 3200/6000) of tasty drinking water per day depending on requirement – enough to supply up to 60,000 persons. The systems can be mounted on trailers or installed in containers in accordance with specific needs. Today, there are more than 40 WTC in action in the world in Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Australia and Africa.
WTC 500 RO/G/GT
The flexibility of the Waterclean 500 enables to produce drinking water anywhere in the world. Contaminations such as turbidity and heavy metals are removed without the addition of chemicals. Sea and brackish water can be desalinated without any restriction. With the Waterclean 500 GT it is possible to produce 12,000l best drinking water every day, the quality of which even exceeds the strict regulations of the World Health Organisation (WHO) in many areas.
WTC 1600
With such equipment, 40,000 l drinking water per day can be produced anywhere in the world. The WTC 1600 enables the continuous water treatment without chemicals, an automatic 24 hour operation to produce drinking water from water which is polluted with bacteria, toxified with chemicals or contaminated with radio-active particles.
WTC 6000
The Waterclean 6000 is a containerized water purification which enables the purification of up to 240,000 l water per day. All kind of waters can be treated such as sweet, brackish or salt water. Thanks to its technology, the water is treated according to safety standards. To fulfil the complete needs in drinking water, some optional supply can be added such as systems of water distribution. These systems are already in use in Finland, Slovenia and Ghana and by the German armed forces in Maran e-Shaint.
Bottling / packaging
WPS 1600 modular water packaging system
The WPS 1600 modular water packaging system is a compact and economical solution which enables the packaging of up to 1,600 litres of water per hour in the field. The system is designed for bagging drinking water in tubular containers made of foil material. It is suitable for continuous operation and requires only a periodical control during operation.
The WPS 1600 can be configured with an electrical power generator and a single-axle trailer for missions in rough terrain.
WBP 700 water bottling plant
The WBP 700 is a water bottling plant capable of producing up to 700 lightweight one litre PET bottles per hour in the field. These bottles are then filled with drinking water from systems such as the WTC 500 under the most hygienic of conditions. This reduces the logistical effort for a field camp dramatically.
WBS water bagging system
The very compact and low energy WBS enables the user to fill preproduced bags with hygienic drinking water at very flexible volumes. The shelf life of the bagged drinking water is at least 30 days under field conditions. The filler can fill bags ranging from 2 to 20 litres. The filling capacity ranges approximately from 300 to 1800 litres per hour depending on the used bag size.
Water storage and water distribution
Kaercher Futuretech’s flexible water tanks enables fresh and drinking water supply even in places far away from water sources.The water tank is suitable for potable water. These tanks have different sizes ranging from 250 to 10,000l.
Kaercher Futuretech’s 16,000 litres capacity water storage and distribution container features an integrated unit to prevent bacterial growth in the water if stored for a long time.
Accessories
E-chlorinator
Kaercher Futuretech’s E-chlorinator is able to produce chlorine for the disinfection of drinking water from table salt, transport and handling of hazardous materials is no longer necessary for mobile drinking water purification. Moreover, it allows low operating costs. A certain amount of chlorine protects drinking water against bacterial regrowth.
