Armoured to B6 level, the Range Rover Armoured has an imposing, powerful, yet discrete presence, virtually indistinguishable from the original.
The Armoured Range Rover provides optimum occupant protection whilst minimising the impact of additional weight on the vehicle's performance. Unlike many armoured SUV's, the Armoured Range Rover's under-skin protection extends to the very back of the vehicle, whilst ISOCLIMA glazing ensures high-level protection with ultimate optical clarity. Specific modifications include 6 pot front and 4 pot rear Alcon brakes for superb braking performance and air suspension for excellent ride quality and practical functionality.
The New Armoured Discovery 3
With outstanding breadth of capability and the latest smart enabling technology, the multi-purpose New Armoured Discovery 3 is the state of the art, all purpose discrete armoured vehicle from Land Rover.
The advanced automatic 2.7 litre TdV6 diesel engine provides smooth torque distribution and quiet refinement thanks to the latest common rail technology, innovative materials and exceptionally high fuel pressure. Four corner independent air suspension provides car-like ride and handling whilst the upgraded braking system providing superb braking performance.
Whatever the surface, the New Armoured Discovery 3 takes it on with confidence and safety. The Terrain Response dial gives access to over 60 years of Land Rover 4x4 expertise and state-of-the-art dynamic technology allowing you to negotiate over tarmac, ruts, grass, mud, snow or sand.
Testing
Rigorous testing is an integral part of our engineering process. QinetiQ, a globally recognised independent organisation for blast and ballistic testing, has validated our armoured vehicles to full B6 Level in accordance with European standard EN 1063 levels BR5/BR6 for the Armoured Range Rover and EN 1522 level FB6 for the Armoured Discovery.
After-care
A dedicated security consultant works closely with the customer, guiding them through every aspect of their purchase, ensuring that their needs and specific requirements are met.
All our armoured vehicles come with a factory approved warranty. Driver Training ensures the driver handles the vehicle to its maximum effect in challenging circumstances. Global After sales Support includes a number of scheduled visits per year by a dedicated technician to help with vehicle familiarisation and servicing.
