GMA Wins a US$16.9 Million Order for Ultra Light-Weight Camouflage Net System (ULCANS)

GMA Cover Corporation announced today that it has won an order for the Ultra Light-Weight Camouflage Net System (ULCANS) valued at $16.9 million. The contract was awarded by the US Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM).
"Winning this order is an incredible achievement for GMA. This order ensures the continuous manufacture of ULCANS," said Glenn Verkindt CEO of GMA. "This is an exciting time for our company and it is truly an honor to be involved in providing ULCANS to the US Army. We are thankful for the Government's continued confidence in GMA and look forward to winning future orders."
GMA manufactures ULCANS in its Port Huron, Michigan facilities. GMA has recently opened a second manufacturing facility and will continue to expand its manufacturing operations in support of ULCANS production. As a result, GMA will hire and train additional staff for the specialized, technically sophisticated production of the ULCANS system.
