As you are doubtless aware, the countdown to the MILIPOL 2011 exhibition in Paris, 18-21 October, has already begun.
GEROH, a leading manufacturer of mobile mast solutions for more than 60 years, will exhibit the new multi role operation support vehicle this year, together with ELETTRONICA and VIDIT Systems.
The multi role operation support vehicle is an optical / acoustical system that offers the capability to monitor the near environment and to record any relevant activity. The vehicle was designed based on the demands of the German Federal Police. In the role of a command center or for monitoring applications, the availability of real time information is essential. Therefore the mast can be lifted to a height of 4m, even when the vehicle is moving.
In addition the system can be enlarged by a wide scope of modularised functions. Additional sensors like electromagnetic, CBRN or a jamming system can be integrated easily.

- Total weight of 3.5 tonnes (incl. four crew members and their equipment)
- Mast retractable to a height of 4m above ground
- Mast with weather-proofed camera positioner
- Protected in-cabin against the entry of liquid fuel in the mast sections
In the meantime, more than 50 vehicles are ordered. During the ceremony on the occasion of the handover of the first vehicles, the Chief of the German Federal Police mentioned that the multi role operation vehicle is a milestone for the professional conservation of evidences and police documentation.
