Once again the German trailer manufacturer DOLL secured the contract for the production of vehicles destined for the Algerian state enterprise ENGOA.
The ‘Entreprise nationale des grands ouvrages d’art’ is a governmental organisation for public works related to infrastructure in Algeria and has been a loyal DOLL customer since the early 2000s.
As DOLL trailers have proved especially suitable when working under harsh and robust conditions, it was no surprise that the choice for the latest tender offer fell once again on transport solutions of DOLL.
The contract volume includes four 3-axle semi low-loaders of type S3P-0P72, which are now transported by sea to Algeria.
Upon arrival at their place of destination, they will be used for bridge constructions on very difficult terrain as well as for the transportation of building machinery and concrete parts with payloads of up to 70t.
Thanks to their hydraulically detachable gooseneck and a hydraulic suspension by means of pendulum axles for an extremely large stroke of 600mm, the trailers fully meet the requirements of ENGOA.
Therefore, it does not seem a coincidence that the company chose DOLL again as their transport solutions ‘Made in Germany’ already demonstrated their abilities with rough conditions in the past.
