Zero Cases - Military Transit Cases, Shock-Mounted Cases and Module Containers

Zero Cases is a UK manufacturer of military equipment cases, 19in shock-mounted cases, ruggedised-application transport cases, containers and deep-drawn enclosures. Based in the industrial heart of the UK (Birmingham), Zero is the UK subsidiary of Zero Manufacturing (Salt Lake City, Utah). Zero Cases heads up the design, manufacture and distribution throughout Europe and the Middle East.

With a 25,000ft² manufacturing facility, and thousands of tooling sizes available (UK and US combined), Zero is able to offer a comprehensive range of case sizes and styles. We offer a full service from case and interior design (using Solid Works drawings) through to manufacture, adhering to military standards and accredited to DR14.

DEEP-DRAWN INSTRUMENT CASES

Zero offers a variety of case alternatives including instrumentation DC cases, 19in commercial cases, Valuline panel-mounted cases and deep-drawn electronic cases, all produced from our in-house 650t hydraulic press.

SHOCK-MOUNTED CASES

The Valan700 19in shock-mounted case is completely fabricated, which gives massive flexibility with sizes and U heights varying from 2U to 16U. Zero's rotationally-moulded transport and 19in shock-mounted cases offer proven protection and are widely used by the US military.

Our carry cases include the Century 2000X, DC series and Valuline, and our rack-mounted 19in cases include the VAL-AN 700. We also produce rigid-mounted commercial cases, and shock-mounted MOD, ENG, SNG and COTS cases.

Zero cases are widely used for the transportation of COTS equipment into harsh environments.

ROTATIONALLY-MOULDED CASES

Rotationally-moulded cases are available from Zero Cases. With over 50 different sized transport cases and over 70 different sizes of 19in Warrior cases; Zero Cases has one of the most comprehensive ranges of rotationally-moulded cases in the UK. Transitainers are proven in military applications and widely used in the US military.

ALUMINIUM 19IN EQUIPMENT CASES

Offering both hard-mounted and shock-mounted 19in cases, Zero Cases manufactures all its aluminium 19in cases from its UK manufacturing plant in Birmingham. To complement the UK-manufactured commercial hard-mount and Valan700 shock-mounted cases, we also supply the rotationally-moulded Warrior 19in shock-mounted cases from Zero Manufacturing.

PANEL-MOUNTED CASES

Panel-mounted cases are also available with the DC and 2000X, offering excellent protection. IP65 is offered as standard on the DC and some 2000 series cases.

Protection against Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) is also available (EMI is designed to provide a minimum of 45dB protection from 30MHz to 1GHz). We work closely with customers to achieve higher levels when required.

SUSPENSION-MOUNTED CASES

The Hybrid case is the latest in the Zero range. Designed specifically to reduce weight, this 19in suspension-mounted case boasts a lightweight yet durable frame and deep-drawn lid shells. Body lengths are flexible in size, with either 3U or 4U currently available. The Hybrid is tested to Def Stan 8141 level N.
