TriStar Manufacturing - Metal Ammunition Boxes, Weapon Containers and Internal Dunnage Systems

TriStar Manufacturing, Inc. (TSM) is a manufacturer of packaging solutions for defense products. We provide metal ammunition boxes, containers, bandoleers, straps and strapping material, pallets and pallet adapters and internal dunnage systems to the global defense industry.

TSM has positioned itself as a leader in the manufacture and integration of military packaging systems for the last 25 years. Our products range from 'full up' packaging systems for munitions such as M-7 blasting caps, Hydra-70 rocket system, the Combined Effects Munitions (CEM) bomb, and Modular Artillery Charge System (MACS).

Through an aggressive marketing strategy, TSM has successfully taken the leadership role in seeking out and uniting some of the finest companies in the marketplace, positioning ourselves as a low cost, value added, high quality container/packaging system integrator.

Our customer base includes companies like Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, ATK, GKN Aerospace, Kaman Dayron, American Ordnance, L-3 Com, US Army, US Airforce and the US Navy.

AMMUNITION CONTAINERS

TSM has manufactured and supplied containers and packaging systems that have supported many munitions programs from small to medium, and large caliber ammunitions (5.56mm, 7.62mm, .50 cal, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 60mm mortar, 81mm mortar and 120mm mortar).

MUNITIONS PACKAGING

In addition to these programs, TSM has provided munitions packaging systems to support various fuse, blasting cap, rocket, missile, bomb, and guidance programs with pallets, pallet adapters, foam dunnage systems, and exterior containers (rectangular, square and cylindrical).

METAL AMMUNITION BOXES

In 2006 TSM is adding a full variety of metal ammunition boxes to our packaging products line. TSM is one of only two US manufacturers with the capabilities to produce these containers. The metal ammunition container line includes:

• Container types M19A1, M2A1, and PA108 for 5.56mm, 7.62mm, and .50 caliber ammunitions
• Container type PA 125 for 25mm caliber ammunitions
• Container type M548 for 20mm caliber ammunitions

MILITARY PACKAGING SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS

TSM has extensive experience in volume production of integrated packaging systems. Over the past 10 years we have been selected on a non-competitive basis as the packaging system integrator for the Hydra 70 rocket program now referred to as APKWS.

This reflects our proven ability to consistently provide customer satisfaction and value as a sole-source supplier and demonstrate our capability to manufacture and integrate various packaging component materials consisting of metal boxes, wire bound boxes, injection molded plastics, polyethylene foam, injection molded plastics, and other fiber components.

Our military packaging systems include:

• Hydra-70 rocket system - internal dunnage packaging system
• Hydra-70 rocket system - refurbished metal containers
• Modular Artillery Charge System (MACS) packaging unit
• M6 / M7 blasting cap packaging system – integrates material components made up of M19A Metal Boxes, wire bound boxes, injection molded plastics, and polyethylene foam

Various other packing system components use the integration of various packaging component materials, consisting of metal boxes, wire bound boxes, fiber tubes, injection molded plastics, polyethylene foams, other fiber components.

TSM bandoleers support small and medium caliber ammunition. We can supply M4, M433, M8 and M249 bandoleers.
