From 12-15 August 2013 Zen Technologies will be showcasing their Zen UAV Mission Simulator at the AUVSI Unmanned Systems event at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.

Offering basic, mission and handling training, the Zen UAV Mission Simulator is a comprehensive system designed to train external pilots, internal pilots, mission commanders, observers/special payload operators and image interpreters.

Training features include a standalone mode for individual training or an integrated mode for team training, and the exercise and evaluation of entire operational procedures of different missions/profiles and payloads, including fault and emergency conditions, and bad weather. The Zen UAV can also assess the proficiency level of trainees, to determine core strengths and weaknesses that can be improved.

The AUVSI Unmanned Systems event attracts at least 8,000 professionals from more than 40 countries worldwide in the unmanned systems and robotics industry in the maritime, sky and ground domains. Featuring a combination of live speakers, product demonstrations and exhibitions, the event enables attendees to learn more about the latest news and products in the industry, as well as crucial networking opportunities.
