TacCam - RAPID DEPLOYMENT, PORTABLE, HANDS FREE, SEARCH AND INSPECTION CAMERA SYSTEM

TacCam is a recent development by Red Box. TacCam is a multipurpose wireless camera system with numerous applications. It consists of a CCD camera and a wrist mounted TFT display unit that delivers crystal clear pictures. The camera is wireless and detached from the monitor enabling ease of use in tactical situations without the hindrance of wiring.

TacCam is ideal in tactical situations, it allows the shooter to see and assess situations out of the line of sight before stepping in to the line of fire.

Wrist eye can be easily attached to any model of borescope or fiberscope via a C-mount camera to enable you to see in to or through small areas, for example keyholes and under doors. An IR camera is also available from Red Box.

An optional extra to TacCam is the Sentry unit. The Sentry unit can be left on watch and viewed remotely via the wrist unit. Up to three additional Sentry units are available for TacCam operations.

Sentry units are ideal to secure an area in a tactical situation when only one or two people are available, for example, first responders.

SnakeCam – COST-EFFECTIVE PORTABLE SEARCH AND INSPECTION EQUIPMENT

The Snake Cam is a remarkable, high quality, low cost, inspection tool. Snake Cam combines user flexibility with quality equipment, at a very competitive price

This completely portable system combines a miniature CCD camera with a hand held TFT display that delivers crystal clear colour pictures. The standard inspection camera has inbuilt cold LED lights and can operate in complete darkness.

The very compact display unit has a rotating screen so that, regardless of the camera orientation, the picture can always be viewed 'head up'. Images can be downloaded for record purposes or for transmission to manufacturers.

Camera cable can be up to 100m and is supplied in modular lengths up to 500m. Snake Cam is waterproof to 50ft depth. The TFT screen is protected by a Lexan outer cover.

Snake Cam can be easily attached to any model of borescope or fibrescope for reaching through small apertures.

Snake Cam is cost effective and technicians, inspectors and investigators can use this tool to save time and money in a wide range of applications

RocketCam – ROCKET-LAUNCHED SURVEILLANCE CAMERA SYSTEM

RocketCam is a simple but very effective piece of equipment. RocketCam consists of a launcher, rocket and a platform with camera and parachute. The rocket and platform are propelled in to the air at great speed. After a calculated time the rocket and platform split and a parachute is released from the back of the platform.

The camera in the platform will transmit the images back to the ground VDU as the platform slowly floats down. RocketCam is ideal for receiving a visual forecast of what is ahead, for instance when there are trees, hills or buildings obstructing your view.

RocketCam comes in two different kits, the single launcher or the vehicle mounted quadruple launcher. Other variations can be built to specification. RocketCam can cover distances of 300m (1,870ft) and can reach heights of 285m (1,312 ft).
