Quality control and Inspection of wear with RIB 2000 for military user.

RIB 2000, the guarantee for safety in the highly sensitive area of large-bore gun barrel inspections. The measuring and examination system RIB 2000 supports the military user in doing quality control and inspection of wear on the inside surfaces of gun barrels. It can be utilised the wear resulting from actual use.

This complete unique system allows the user to inspect the inside of virtually all large-bore guns. It also handles calibration and measuring of distances, angle and depth and documentation of all defects with our special control, measuring and database software KAPPA ImageBase. A simple user interface, central interface management and the integration of all control parameters let the user work safely and comfortably. The system guarantees the 100% exact archiving and reproduction of all data (e.g., measured data, camera parameters, lighting parameters).

RIB 2000 consists of an insertion unit with build-in sensors, two integrated high-resolution cameras and a observation and evaluation unit. The digital camera provide images of highest resolution. The new LCD flat screen displays feature optimum performance in confined space. The computer hardware is integrated into a portable container system.
