CCD CAMERA MODULES AND OPTRONIC SYSTEMS FOR DAY AND NIGHT SIGHTSThese cameras have proven their reliability in harsh environments. Modular electronic design, resistance to shock, vibration and temperature as well as low-noise and high-linear signal transmission are integral performance characteristics. RIB 2000 - INSPECTION SYSTEM FOR GUN BARRELS (CALIBER 76mm to 203mm)The measuring and examination system RIB 2000 supports the defence industry and military user in doing quality control and inspection of wear on the inside surfaces of gun barrels of different bore sizes and diameters/calibres. It can be utilised within the production processes or for inspection of wear resulting from actual use. RIB 2000 also handles documentation and archiving of effects. GUN FIRE CONTROL CAMERA FOR MARKSMAN TRAINING, SHOOTING PRACTICE AND MISSION DOCUMENTATION Kappa has more than 30 years' experience in extremely robust miniature, lightweight cameras for shooting practice. The riflescope camera system (CVS-RS) is a miniaturised camera mounted on weapons, adaptable to all riflescopes or optical systems. It is a gun fire control camera used by sharpshooters, marksman and rifle officers for exact analysis of aiming and firing, live video evaluation in real-time and documentation for shooting training and missions. A product variation with additional accessories – including head-mounted displays, helmet-mounted cameras, and MIL-Std 1913 and Picatinny approved weapon-mounted cameras – as well as low-light level camera technology for 24/7 observation and night vision, offers adaptation to the foot soldier's requirements to enhance their effectiveness. The weapon-mounted camera turns the gun fire control camera into an observation device able to transmit images to other manoeuvre members or commanders, and can therefore be used as a decision-making tool for increased situational awareness.. NVS - NIGHT VISION SYSTEM FOR 24/7 SURVEILLANCEWith a verified minimum illumination of 0,00047lx the KAPPA NVS is one of the most light-sensitive CCD cameras on the market. Designed as a system, the NVS comes with an automatically controlled lens, enabling it to operate around the clock, in pitch darkness as well as in bright sunlight. The integrated infrared LED ring light uses non-visible light waves. The system is designed for night surveillance and daytime observation and reconnaissance. XR 5 - DIGITAL X-RAY DETECTION SYSTEM FOR SUSPICIOUS OBJECTSThe XR 5 is a digital x-ray system with superior image resolution for detection, imaging and screening of suspicious objects (e.g. ammunition). Perfect for rugged routine applications: Compact, portable for mobile use, low-voltage, optional with wireless control and data transmission. DRE - DYNAMIC RANGE ENHANCEMENT A passive method to enhance clarity in live video images for reconnaissance and observation, DRE provides a clearer view in fog, haze, smoke or rain. Optionally the DRE function can be integrated in all KAPPA cameras and optronic systems. This unique technology reveals information in live images (black and white, colour) with poor contrast. Image quality, rendition and display of edges are considerably improved in real time.
