Synectics Surveillance Technology's activities include designing special radio and electro-optic surveillance products and systems. These include long-range video surveillance systems with associated video links and computer control, digital recording of video, audio and radar, microwave surveillance receivers and radio surveillance and direction finding systems.

Synectics Surveillance Technology designs systems to meet specific customer requirements, developing and integrating both Synectics Surveillance Technology products, as well as OEM equipment. Synectics Surveillance Technology will design and develop special interface and control hardware and software for communications intelligence and imaging intelligence applications.

Synectics Surveillance Technology is part of the Synectic Systems Group Limited, which is a major subsidiary of Quadnetics PLC.

LRS2000 LONG RANGE OPTICAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

The LRS2000 is a high performance long-range surveillance system. It has the capability to read vehicle number plates at ranges in excess of 1.2km, to recognise a known face at 2.4km and to observe human activity at greater than 12km. The LRS2000 has a high performance day / night capability utilising the 5400 series of changeover cameras. This gives the best of both worlds with a high performance colour camera in daylight and a low light or intensified camera for night surveillance. It is ideal for long-range border surveillance.

LRS3000 LONG RANGE MULTI SENSOR OPTICAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

The LRS3000 is a multi-sensor platform designed to provide optical and thermal surveillance at extreme ranges, up to 20km. The inclusion of a high performance thermal imager on the platform ensures surveillance coverage in all conditions. The LRS3000 system can also be integrated with other technologies, such as radar, remote ground sensors, lasers for range finders, target markers and illuminators.

LRS-F LONG RANGE MULTI-ROLE OPTICAL SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

The LRS-F is a completely self-contained and highly portable video surveillance, monitoring and recording system. Employing the very latest in electro-optical technologies, the LRS-F provides surveillance at extreme ranges and in low light, capable of reading vehicle number plates in excess of 3,000m - making it ideal for highly specialised and sensitive special operations, counter insurgency, hostage rescue and intervention, as well as covert and overt military and intelligence operations.

LEARAS MAN PORTABLE RADIO DIRECTION FINDING SYSTEM

This system is a lightweight radio direction finding system, combining the functionality and flexibility of software based systems with the technical needs of the professional and military community.

The system allows radio monitoring, recording and radio direction finding against targets in the frequency range of 2MHz to 2,000MHz. The system can be man portable, allowing operation by small teams of covert troops or vehicle fitted, giving a fast deployable, easy to use capability.

RX741 MICROWAVE SURVEILLANCE RECEIVER

The RX741 panoramic microwave surveillance and monitoring receiver is designed for cost effective signal monitoring - from commercial monitoring and measurement to evaluation of potential threats - allowing reception of a wide range of microwave signals from 0.1GHz to 40GHz.
