Comm Port Technologies awarded Defense Logistic Agency (DLA) UVSS Contract

Comm Port Technologies, a New Jersey-based manufacturer of UVSS (Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems), was awarded a contract by the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA, US DOD) for a UVSS requirement in February 2007. The contract was awarded through Accu Tech (a Comm Port Technologies distributor). The contract includes supply by Comm Port and installation and integration by one of Accu Tech's integrators. The project is expected to finish in March 2007.
The project has been under evaluation for the last 18 months, and after a detailed investigation and comparison of different technology, and a feasibility study, Comm Port's UVSS system was chosen by the DLA.
