New Rugged Military VCR from Britannia 2000

Britannia 2000 Ltd, the Maidenhead based specialist military surveillance equipment manufacturer has recently launched the new 2640 ruggedised Mini DV VCR suitable for use in military aircraft, helicopters and vehicles. The 2640 will eventually replace the successful 2604 model currently in service. Improvements over the 2604 include NVIS compatible front panel controls and improved thermal insulation to extend the temperature range to -25C. The flip down front panel which allows access to the cassette changing mechanism is now O ring sealed against the ingress of dust or moisture.
The 2640 is compatible with the existing Multi deck Controller to provide unlimited recording time when using 2 VCRS.
The 2640 fits in a standard aircraft rack system, measuring just 146mm wide and 76mm high.
