Britannia 2000 is an ISO9001 accredited manufacturer and supplier of surveillance equipment, specialised cameras, image transmission systems and integrated vehicle systems for military, police, emergency services and intelligence applications. Recent projects have included EMC Class A, full military specification colour zoom and monochrome cameras for EOD and remote controlled vehicle applications, command and control electronics for an armoured surveillance vehicle and multi camera covert surveillance vehicles.

2640 - RUGGED, NVIS COMPATIBLE, MINI DV VCR

2640 is a small, ruggedised, front loading, NVIS compatible Mini DV VCR for military and police surveillance helicopters, aircraft and military vehicles. Measuring only 76mm high and 146mm wide, it fits in standard aircraft rack systems. Multiple decks can be controlled using a Multi Deck Controller, and remote control panels can be fitted for second observers.

Digital recording on to miniature cassettes gives high resolution and perfect stop and slow motion. A ground replay system allows dubbing on to VHS or SVHS and a computer plug in is available for grabbing sequences or stills for printing or emailing.

2655 FOUR CAMERA MULTIPLEXER

The 2655 Multiplexer accepts up to four composite video inputs to allow up to four cameras to be recorded on to a single 2640 video recorder. The replay station allows any combination of the four inputs to be displayed as a quad, horizontal split, vertical split or full screen. 146mm wide x 38mm high.

NiteSpy - HAND-HELD / HELMET-MOUNTED NIGHT VISION SYSTEM

A new concept in Night Vision, NiteSpy is a hand-held or helmet mounted modular day/night vision system. Using an electronic viewfinder, NiteSpy has a range of field replaceable sensor modules which can be changed in seconds. Modules include day cameras, 2nd and 3rd gen intensifiers and a new miniature thermal imager. Troops need now only carry a single hand-held viewer, changing modules as the requirements change. Modules are typically 50mm diameter and 100mm long.

SURVEILLANCE EQUIPMENT

Britannia 2000 supplies portable equipment for counter terrorist use and a range of surveillance equipment including body worn video systems, long range surveillance and wireless remote control of cameras with microwave transmission. We also specialize in remote autonomous cameras for unattended surveillance in rural areas, long-range passive infrared detectors, night vision systems and intensified weapon sights.

SPECIALISED CAMERAS

Britannia 2000 offers un-cooled, high temperature resistant cameras for fire fighting robots and engine room monitoring, as well as head up display and cockpit cameras. They also supply gun bore-sight alignment cameras, radar bore-sight cameras, gun fire control cameras, class A EMC, EOD cameras, pan/tilts and illuminators and helmet and weapon mounted cameras with remote transmission.
