The Protaurius modular camp-protection system is a rapid-deployment ballistic-protective system for camps and containers.

MODULAR CAMP-PROTECTION SYSTEM

The modular camp-protection system provides end-users with multiple choices regarding logistics. The system is made up of components that are mounted at a site, making it possible to transport the pieces together or separately. The main benefit is that the system ensures high-performance protection with a significantly lower cost of transportation than other solutions.

BALLISTIC PROTECTIVE PANEL SYSTEM

The protective system is a panel system that contains two components, steel panels and a ceramic filling. The ballistic-protective panel system gives the user flexibility to protect any structure, size and shape. The panels are developed to ensure fast and easy mounting.

BULLET AND SHRAPNEL EMBEDDING FILLING

After the steel panels have been mounted the ceramic filling is poured into them. The patent-pending material is a sandwich construction, and the ceramic filling ensures that bullets and shrapnel that hit the material are embedded inside, rather than ricocheting as they would if hitting steel, composites or concrete. This increases the security for people, vehicles and installations in the vicinity.

ISO CONTAINER BALLISTIC PROTECTION

The camp protection system was developed with a focus on the protection of ISO containers. Included in the system is an innovative and easy to use fastening kit that easily mounts the panels to the wall of a container. There is no risk of the panels turning over in case of heavy winds.

The ballistic-protective system is also suitable to use in other rapid-deployment scenarios, such as small satellite camps, observation posts, checkpoints or any container-based infrastructure.

STANAG 4569 APPROVED

The modular camp protection system has been tested according to STANAG 4569 standards for both rifle-fire and artillery threats. The protective material meets level three requirements.

The testing included armour-piercing tungsten ammunition (AP with WC core). The material can withstand multiple hits from AP bullets, even in the exact same spot.
