Innovative mounting system for air pressure tanks
A novel mounting system for air pressure tanks for the brake system in trucks is another innovative development from SAG Motion. A great reduction in the number of parts creates considerable advantages in both weight and costs. The savings in weight are substantial: The new solution eliminates up to 50% of the original weight of steel strapping. The weight advantages could only be achieved with an aluminium-compatible mounting design. In addition, this aluminium-compatible construction also offers increased protection of the tank since the fitting is specially designed for aluminium. Mounting is fast and easy with this simple system, which is especially important during the first mounting and for the aftermarket.
