Westwood International is an international trading company that offer a diverse range of goods including fragmentation jackets, military boots, fire engine trucks, fire extinguishers, search and rescue equipment, rescue vehicles, police batons and berets. Established in April 1990, we provides quality goods and services to the European, Middle Eastern and African security, safety and defence markets.

Bulletproof vests and ceramic plate inserts

Our range of bulletproof vests provide some of the best ballistic protection on the market today. They have been designed to withstand the rigours of military and tactical service life. Tough, durable, and easy to put on and take off, the ergonomic design, material and structure of our bulletproof vests ensure comfort and longevity.

The outer covers are hand washable, and feature a continuous front and rear panel design ensuring full protection to the front, back and sides of the wearer’s torso. Our bulletproof vests can be combined with ceramic plate inserts to provide protection up to NIJ Levels III and IV, offering the wearer total protection from every type of small arm, including high velocity and military-grade rifles. The jacket is certified and has a ten-year warranty.

Single-tube night vision goggles

Westwood’s GEN 3 single-tube night vision goggles (NVGs) can be used for covert observation, reconnaissance, walking, driving, map reading and repair tasks in starlight or moonlight illumination conditions. The NVGs’ built-in infrared source provides close up operational capability in total darkness. The additional changeable long focus objective lenses also provide 4X magnification for quasi-binocular mode. Our NVGs have an operating temperature of 35°C to +35°C, and can withstand a relative humidity up to 95% at temperature 25°C. The goggles are powered by a single 1.5V AA battery.

Water resistant technical combat boot

Westwood also supply high-performance boots made from full-grain durable black water resistant leather, ideally suited for military and law enforcement personnel for use in combat or combat training. Suitable for the rigours of present-day military work, our high-performance boots provide a great combination of grip, ankle stability and foot protection for support even on the most rugged and challenging environments.

Westwood have collaborated with a number of international agencies including UNMASIL, ECOMIL, and UNAMID, equipping their personnel with boots, helmets, 3G night vision goggles and body armour for the various operations in Sierra Leone, Malaysia, Liberia and East Timor.
