VestGuard UK Ltd., has over 20 years experience in the body armour market. Our UK factory has been making body armour and bullet proof clothing since 1985. Designed to protect the major part of the upper torso, VestGuard UK's bullet proof body armour and stab vests can be worn comfortably under a shirt or jacket or overtly over clothing. Vests are made from Kevlar and we can also make them from Spectra and Zylon.

Our body armour is flexible, six / four-point-adjustable and comfortable to wear for sustained periods of time. Most importantly, it protects from bullet and / or knife attacks. The body armour is suitable for VIPs, security and protection personnel, as well as civilians needing extra protection.

NIJ COVERT BALLISTIC / STAB VESTS, BODY ARMOUR AND BALLISTIC PLATES

Our body armour and vests are manufactured from stitched Kevlar and tested to US NIJ certified levels. Our vests start from around 3mm-4mm thick, weighing from 2kg. Our most popular vest is our combination vest, NIJ IIA standard. It offers high ballistic capability as well as stab resistance for edged weapons. Vests are available to NIJ levels II, IIA and IIIA; UK level HG1, HG2 and PSDB. Pockets are available on our NIJ level IIIA vest to take 200mm x 300mm NIJ level III or IV ballistic plates.

We provide ballistic, protective insert plates, made from ceramic or lightweight Dyneema plate. These are available to NIJ level III or IV, in 200mm x 250mm or 250mm x 300mm sizes.

BATONS, EXTENDABLE BATONS AND NIGHTSTICKS

Our range of batons includes extendable, solid-steel, flick batons. These lock on friction and are available in 16in, 21in and 26in sizes. We also offer a side-handle version made from high-quality duralumin and a 26in hardened-steel version. Our other batons include:

KEVLAR-LINED DEFENDER GLOVES, SHOOTING GLOVES AND SEARCH GLOVES

Used by special services, police and military worldwide, our Kevlar-lined defender gloves are made from high-quality leather, with single or double Kevlar-lining. They are soft enough to fold and stow in trouser pockets and available in two styles.

Our shooting gloves have been design to help armed police officers. They are made from real leather, with padded knuckles and short fingers.

Search gloves are available in dual-active, passive active or mitt variants. Dual-active search gloves contain metal-detectors in both gloves, whereas the passive active gloves contain only one. The mitt variant has the metal detector in the wrist, leaving the hand free for frisking.

COMBAT, POLICE AND SPECIAL FORCES HELMETS

Black police helmet - meets the special needs of a tactical police teams with NIJ level IIIA protection. Designed for police marksmen, it is comfortable and balanced.

Para helmet - British, in-service, combat-proven helmet: offering comfort with impact and fragmentation protection. The helmet is compatible with a wide range of communication equipment.

VG-100 - especially designed for special forces use. It provides a high level of protection against a range of hand-gun threats. Designed to interface with a wide range of ear defenders, communication equipment, gas masks and respirators.

RADIOS, EAR PIECES AND RADIO ACCESSORIES

We are authorized Motorola dealers as well as stocking Icom, Kenwood and many more. We can offer radios for virtually and application, from retail security to rugged MIL-Spec models. We also stock earpieces for all types of radios, including wireless and the clear, covert, US, two-wire earpiece. Our radios can be supplied with a full range of accessories, including aerials, batteries, cases and chargers.
