Portable gas masks

Our gas mask range includes both portable and CBRN products.

Our portable gas masks are all one-size-fits-all, easy to carry and simple to use. The masks provide immediate respiratory protection from fires, chemical incidents and biological attacks.

Military vehicle equipment

Rescue Under Fire (RUF) is a revolutionary system, developed for both military and civilian use. The system helps to remove disabled vehicles from dangerous zones and areas, without the rescuer being exposed to hostile fire or any other adverse conditions.

The RUF kit:

• Enables vehicle rescue in all types of terrain
• Enables us to rescue and recover the vehicle without the rescuers being exposed to the elements or hostile fire
• The RUF system can be mounted on a vehicle by the use of a pin in less that one minute
• Can recover a vehicle from either the front or the rear
• Can approach disabled vehicles from tight angles
• Easy to maneuver in tight urban environments
• The RUF system does not change, disable or interfere with the normal operation of the vehicle
• The hook can be folded aside when not in use and it does not protrude from the chassis

Covert thermal signalling beacons

Our thermal beacons are designed for a wide range of combat applications, and are ideal for military and para-military forces. Designed for covert signalling, they can be detected by any FLIR system on the correct wavelength, and work in the 3-12µ range.

Safety and Defence Solutions' selection of combat identification system units are very lightweight and compact, and can be powered by batteries or a vehicle. Our thermal beacons range includes:

• Multispectral Omni Medium Range (MS-OMR) helmet and vehicle-mounted thermal vehicle, which comes with a user-controlled radiation spectrum
• OEM modules for SAR applications, which enables users to signal to thermal cameras or night vision goggles
• Handheld omnidirectional thermal beacon, which has a recognition range of up to 10km

We also manufacture high-powered lasers, in infrared wavelengths of 808nm to 860nm. These have an output of >1W, providing the dual functions of laser aiming and illumination. Products include weapon-mounted and handheld lasers.

Integrated fuel containment systems

Our state-of the-art self-healing fuel containment system is developed using a mix of poly material, and can withstand attack from .50 caliber, shrapnel, mines, fire and falls.
