Revision Eyewear Selected by Belgian Ministry of Defence to Provide Spectacle and Goggle Eyewear Protection to Soldiers

Revision Eyewear Inc., developers of purpose-built eyewear for the military worldwide announced that the Belgian Ministry of Defence has selected the Sawfly™ Eyewear System spectacles and the Bullet Ant™ Tactical Goggles to provide eye protection against both fragmentation and environmental conditions for their soldiers.
Revision Eyewear will be providing Laser Protective Lenses as part of the contract, and additionally will benefit soldiers requiring prescription eyewear by providing interchangeable Rx carriers. The four-year contract is for 16,000 eyewear units each of the Sawfly spectacles and Bullet Ant goggles.
Recognizing the importance of protecting their soldiers' eyes, the aim of the Belgian MoD is to keep their soldiers safe and provide equipment that has been built battle tough. The Revision eyewear selected is not only compatible with their equipment but, importantly, it is comfortable, functional, fits well and provides optical clarity and optimal protection. The Revision eyewear met all of the MoD's requirements, including the provision of specialty lenses for laser protection. The protective eyewear will be ready to issue within a few weeks.
