As presenting sponsors of VTANG, Revision opened their Williston, Vermont facility to the media, community, and several VIP's; Major General Michael Dubie, Adjutant General for the VT National Guard; Col. Brian Carrion, representative for the Adjutant General of Puerto Rico; Col. Steve Cray, Chairman of the VT National Guard Charitable Foundation; Lt. Gov. Brian Dubie of Vermont; Lt. Gen. The media, community members, and guests toured the facility and viewed demonstrations of optical and ballistic testing on Revision Eyewear products with their state-of-the-art testing equipment. With the new $4 million U.S. Army contract now underway, Revision has grown from inception to over 30 full time persons in less than two years, and fully expects that rapid expansion will continue, providing additional job opportunities in Vermont.
"The Williston, Vermont facility has become Revision's operational hub for manufacturing, assembly, warehousing, logistics, sales and customer service, quality assurance, and ballistic and optical testing in a very short period of time," Jonathan Blanshay, President of Revision Eyewear commented to the company's guests. "Our staffing requirements have also grown significantly reflecting Revision's growth in both domestic and international markets as well as our product line expansion."
