Wiley X's NERVE eliminates the need for old-fashioned bulky field goggles - this sleek, modern ballistic goggle incorporates the latest lens technology from Wiley X in a streamlined, easy to carry size that fits easily in a jacket pocket or attached to a belt. Wiley X's NERVE features the unique Top Down™ Ventilation System, ensuring the user a fog-free environment - and the ultra-low profile design fits a wide array of men's and women's face sizes and shapes. The NERVE is night vision goggle compatible and includes two sets of ballistic selenite™ polycarbonate lenses (smoke and clear) incorporating Spheric™ lens technology that follows the curvature of the eye for perfect optical clarity.
The lenses for the NERVE feature the company's famed High Velocity Protection - HVP™. They meet and exceed not only ANSI Z87.1-203 High Velocity Impact Standards, but also the Military Vo Ballistic Impact Specs MIL-V43511C. Each lens is coated with T-Shell™, a scratch resistant hard coat, and Foil™ anti-fog coating and provide 100% (400 nanometers) in UVA/UVB protection. And for the prescription eyeglass wearer, Wiley X's Nerve can easily be fitted with prescription inserts.
The heat resistant frame provides a 90-degree wrap around design, thus eliminating tunnel vision. Plus, the NERVE's tactical strap meets the stringent NFPA 1971-2000 Flame Resistant requirement and uses Wiley X's Tri-Glide™ adjusting system for easy length adjustments and quick release connections.
