BALLISTIC BODY ARMOUR

Imperial Armour provides a wide range of ballistic body armour. It is able to offer protection from fragmentation up to high-velocity armour, depending on the customer's needs. Our ballistic body armour is available in a variety of ballistic materials and configurations and is developed in conjunction with the customer's requirements for male and female forms.

We offer the following outer-cover materials for our ballistic body armour:

• Flame retardant

Optional anti-microbial linings are available to assist with sweat management. Further available features include flame retardant material, water repellent material, hi-visibility, and the capacity to be made to measure. THE 3001 BALLISTIC VEST

The Imperial Armour 3001 ballistic vest reduces the risk of fatality to the vital areas of the body, particularly the chest and lungs, against high velocity bullets, minor demolition and grenade fragmentation. The ballistic vest offers protection to the front, back and side, with an adjustable Velcro closure, and groin protection.

Available in five sizes, the ballistic vest also comes in a range of colours, including camouflage.

PASGT AND BALLISTIC HELMETS

The Imperial Armour PASGT helmet is a general-purpose helmet for the modern combat soldier and utilises a unique process technology to achieve an excellent performance weight ratio. This PASGT helmet can be worn comfortably for extensive periods of time, in adverse weather conditions.

Imperial Armour also manufactures the Combat helmet, and the Paratac, a lightweight ballistic helmet. The Imperial Armour Crewman helmet was designed specifically for tank crews and soldiers needing to wear large communication headsets. This design allows for the easy removal of the headset.

HARD ARMOUR PLATES

The Imperial Armour dyneema hard armour plate is lightly constructed from high-performance polyethylene. Imperial Armour offers a wide range of composite ballistic panels. These panels can be used in conjunction with vests or as stand-alone.

The hard armour plates can be manufactured to upgrade vehicle protection and are made to measure. Weight is always an important consideration and we strive to provide necessary protection at the minimum weight.

CAMOUFLAGE NET

The Imperial Armour camouflage net had been used extensively both in South Africa and throughout the world. The basic 'carrier net' is made from nylon and provides heat, weather and flame resistance. The standard vehicle covering net measures 10.2m by 10.2m, but Imperial Armour has the capacity to produce any size of camouflage net required.

The company also manufactures a range of accessories for military and security application, including harnesses, military bags, gas masks, trauma packs, maglites, boots and raincoats.
