Manufactured in the UK and sold in 55 countries worldwide, Arnold Engineering Plastics' personal protective equipment is used by police, prison, defence and security authorities as their protective products of choice.

The product range consists of riot shields, limb protectors, body armour, batons and accessories such as visors, gloves and boots. The latest addition to the product range is a new generation of limb protectors, setting the benchmark in limb protection, manufactured under the Arnold ‘Frontline’ brand.

LIMB PROTECTORS

Limb protectors are intended to reduce or prevent the severity of soft tissue or other injuries resulting from blunt trauma to the areas covered by the protectors.

Limb protectors are available in three different ranges:

• 'Frontline' – available in four sizes
• 'Advanced' – available in four sizes
• 'Prime' - available in one size

The Frontline and Advanced range of limb protectors meet protector performance level 2 and are CE marked to BS7971-4.

RIOT SHIELDS

The Arnold range of riot shields are designed to dissipate impact shock across the surface of the shield. The riot shields have shatterproof polycarbonate construction and are CE marked to BS7971-2. From full-body defensive shields to lightweight offensive shields, the 16 riot shield styles in the range have been constantly evolved over twenty years, with input from leading tacticians and practitioners.

BODY PROTECTORS

Arnold body protectors are available in two ranges:

• 'Advanced' body protectors – available in three sizes
• 'Prime' body protectors - available in one size

The 'Advanced' body protector range is BS7971-8 compliant and meets protection performance level 2.

New ‘Frontline’ range of shoulder / torso combination vest is launching summer of 2006 and will give blunt trauma / stab / spike protection and comply with BS7971-8 and PSDB KR1/Spike and PSDB KR2/Spike.

BATONS

Manufactured from rigid black nylon rod or tube depending on type, the baton range is available in lightweight or solid versions and in a choice of lengths to suit operational requirements.
