BODY ARMOUR

ATL designs and manufactures world-class body armour for paramilitary forces, defence personnel and VIPs. We make customised solutions using polyethylene and / or aramid fibres in different configurations for customer specified levels of protection. We also offer our customers a choice of fabric for the outer wear: cotton, polyester or cordura. For special needs ATL can provide waterproof and fire-retardant fabric solutions.

HARD ARMOR INSERT PLATES

NIJ level IV protection in our jackets is achieved by inserting ATL manufactured hard armour or composite insert plates.

POLYETHYLENE HARD ARMOUR

ATL offers the world's lightest possible solutions in polyethylene hard armour. They are extremely popular among security forces due to their comfortable wear and superior protection against lethal threats.

CERAMIC COMPOSITE AND STEEL ARMOUR PLATES

Our experienced engineers have also designed complex composite-solutions for multi-hit protection against a variety of bullets. Our plates can be used as stand-alone or in-conjunction with soft armour vests.

CUSTOMISED ARMOUR PLATES

ATL has one of the largest manufacturing capacities for producing hard armour and composite insert plates in flat, single-curve and multi-curve shapes in any size. ATL plates are also available in full-body contoured profiles for maximum comfort.

VEHICLE ARMOUR

ATL also offers polyethylene and ceramic solutions for vehicle armouring.

BULLETPROOF HELMETS

ATL bulletproof helmets are designed for comfort and superior protection in the difficult conditions servicemen serve under for long durations. ATL's solutions are certified by leading labs for NIJ level IIIA protection. ATL helmets also have excellent V50 for fragments.

ATL offers helmets in PASGT, combat and paratrooper designs in small, medium, large and x-large sizes; all meet current US PASGT standards.

ATL offers a choice of two, three and four-point adjustable harness designs with snap-fit and quick-release chin straps. Night-vision and communication attachments can be fitted to our helmets.

BOLT-FREE HELMETS

ATL engineers have developed bolt-free helmets, with no visible holes, offering superior protection to the wearer.

NON-BALLISTIC AND BALLISTIC VISORS

ATL also offers non-ballistic and ballistic visors up to NIJ level IIIA protection level against fragments.

BULLETPROOF SHIELDS

ATL bulletproof shields are lightweight and designed to provide excellent protection against bullets.

ATL also offers a trolley version of the bulletproof shield, with these key features:

RIOT CONTROL EQUIPMENT

ATL's riot control equipment is preferred by the police forces of many states. Our products are designed to protect against mechanical impacts, stone pelting, fragment impacts and hazardous liquids.

RIOT CONTROL SHIELDS

ATL's riot control shield is manufactured using UV-stabilised polycarbonate sheets that have high-impact resistance. ATL's lightweight and transparent shields are available in right-hand and left-hand modules.

We design and manufacture shields for specific applications in close collaboration with the end-users.

RIOT CONTROL HELMETS

ATL's riot control helmets (with visor) offer protection against NIJ level I and are available in PASGT shape. Our helmets have the option to attach a transparent visor for superior protection against projectile threats.

RIOT CONTROL BATONS

Ultra-light ATL riot control batons are available in many sizes and made of polycarbonate. Their bolt-less integration soft grip make them easy to use.
